At Panakes since 2021, Andrea is supporting the team in deal sourcing, due diligence processes through technology, market, competitive and medical-need analysis and negotiations for potential biotech deals. He has a 5+ years’ experience in preclinical and clinical research, including competencies in designing and developing new nanotechnologies acquired in his 2+ year postdoctoral fellowship at the Houston Methodist Research Institute. From 2017 to 2021, he worked as project manager at BiovelocITA, a biotech accelerator promoted by Sofinnova Partners, with the focus on seed funding breakthrough discoveries generated by Italian scientists.
